The device has an Aiming Light to help point correctly inbetween the eyebrows - a Digital Proximity Sensor to check the distance between the forehead and the thermometer - On screen guidance to help you position the device at the correct distance. This mode also helps minimize the spreading of germs. Touch mode: The touch feature allows you to easily and quickly measure your little one's temperature and is also ideal for self-measurement.Silent mode: Allows you to take the temperature without the device giving off a beeping sound - great when using the thermometer in no touch mode to avoid waking up a sleeping child Colour-coded temperature guidance: The back-lit, colour-coded display will let you know in a glance if the fever temperature is getting better or worse. The digital screen changes from Green (normal), Yellow (fever), to Red (high fever). The device makes a sound for the different readings - For low (no backlight) and normal (green backlight) temperature range, you will hear a single long beep for 2 seconds.
