The Hathern Rug pairs a timeless design with a calming seafoam blue palette to add a relaxed element to your space. Hand-crafted by skilled rug artisans using a unique cut-and-loop technique to create a high-low effect in the pile. In 100% wool pile, the Hathern rug has a warm-touch finish. We love using the Hathern Wool rug in living and bedroom spaces for a traditional statement finish.This is a hand-made rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and to reduce pressure marks from furniture. Wool fibres may shed when new and during use, this is a characteristic of this product and is not a defect and should reduce with normal use and weekly vacuuming.Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. Keep away from fire, do not leave children unattended on this rug.
