The Grantham Cot Bed offers a stylish wooden effect finish as well as optional matching furniture to give your little ones nursery that touch of elegance. Crafted from sturdy MDF this cot bed is designed to grow with your baby as it can be converted into a junior bed to last until your child is around 4 years old. Three mattress height positions with fixed side rails make it easy for you to choose the right mattress height for your baby. To save your back in the early days, before your baby can move around, you can start with the mattress at the highest level. As your child grows and to deter little climbers, you have a choice of a further two lower positions. The included sprung mattress includes a polypropylene cover featuring a luxurious quilted top panel that is water resistant, hypoallergenic, fully breathable, removable and washable at 40°C so that it can be easily kept fresh and clean for your child's naptime. Sprung mattresses offer great support for your child as the springs evenly distribute their body weight and relieve pressure while they are sleeping for long periods of time. The high tensile coil spring unit core of this mattress is wrapped by strong gauze for added comfort and dent resistant nursery foam to increase internal airflow and prevent overheating.
