A polycarbonate case and protection sheath prevents the unit from getting internal damage and external contamination. There is a data hold function that retains the displayed value allowing you time to write down the result of your test. The probe itself is 125mm long and made of stainless steel making it easy to clean, there is an auto power off function after 1 hour of no activity to preserve the battery and ensure it has a long lifespan.
