Not only is the Bistro mill timeless, it is also one of the oldest models in Peugeots collection. It was released for the first time in 1874 under the name of Model Z. In its 7cm version, the mill is the smallest wooden pepper mill from the House Peugeot. The pepper mill 7 and 10 cm and salt mill 10 cm are available individually or as a dual set. The knob on the upper part of the mill serves to adjust the grinding level: The more the knob is turned, the finer the grind and vice-versa. Peugeot Pepper Mill: The pepper grinding mechanism, consisting of a double-rowed spiral tooth system, directs and holds the peppercorns for a perfect grind. The pepper mills steel grinding mechanism has been processed to withstand corrosion. This preserves its cutting ability and guarantees long-lasting durability. Put simply: it is unique to the world catering market. Which pepper should you use? For an optimal result, please use peppercorns of 5mm diameter or less. In a Peugeot mill you can grind black, white and green peppercorns. Colourful pepper mixtures should contain at least 15 of the aforementioned peppercorns. Coriander can be ground in the pepper mill as well. Peugeot Salt Mill: The grinding mechanism of the Peugeot salt mill was conceived to grind coarse, dry salt. The mill is not affected by the salts corrosiveness thanks to its fabrication from stainless steel. What type of salt should you use?
